Since 1982 Great Belize Productions has been the nation's leading television production facility. In addition to providing all the local programming for Channel 5 the company's production arm produces high quality commercials, documentaries and entertainment programs for a wide range of Belizean and international clients. Many of those productions have received awards from CNN, UNICEF, PAHO, AND SANDALS Resorts. Since 1995 GBP has been recognized annually by the Caribbean Broadcasting Union as the station making the greatest contribution to regional programming.

Working in a variety of formats, including Hi-8, U-Matic, DVCAM and Betacam SP, the experienced professional staff can take your project from initial concept through to mass duplication. Use of the latest Sony digital camera technology, including underwater housings and Media 100 non-linear editing system guarantees that your production will conform to the highest international standards.

Along with the most advanced equipment in the country, GBP also possesses the world's largest video library of archival footage on Belize. Choose from hours of rare scenes including aerials of virtually the entire country, magnificent underwater shots, animals, people, cultural performances, economic development, news and sports. This library gives visiting producers tremendous flexibility and guarantees that whether they use their own crews or ours, whatever shots are not available due to time or financial constraints can be attained from our extensive files.
